Your ability to obtain CE credit for the e-PRO course will depend whether the regulatory agency in your state has approved the e-PRO course for CE credit. Each state has its own set of standards as to the type of courses recognized for CE (classroom, distance learning, technology). Separate applications must be made in each state and the number of hours approved will vary as well.
The following states have approved the e-PRO course for CE credit:
The Arizona Department of Real Estate has approved the e-PRO course for 21 hours of General CE credit. The Arizona Association of REALTORS will assist their members in processing the CE certificate - contact barbfreestone@aaronline.com
The Colorado Real Estate Commission has approved the e-PRO course for 30 hours of continuing education credit.
The Illinois Association of REALTORS has gained approval from the Office of Banks and Real Estate for six hours elective continuing education credit for the E-Pro program.
The State of Illinois requires a proctored exam in order to obtain continuing education credit. The processing fee for the exam is $16.00 and is to be paid to the local association proctor. To schedule your exam, contact Carrie Elliott at CElliott@iar.org.
The New Mexico Real Estate Commission has approved the e-PRO course for 10 hours of TRAINING credit.
In Oregon, brokers certify that their agents have met continuing education requirements based on courses and presentations attended. The average time to complete the online program is 25 hours. Brokers can review the e-PRO Program at http://eProNAR.com to help determine the number of hours to approve.
The South Dakota Real Estate Commission has approved the e-PRO course for 22 hours of elective continuing education credit upon successful completion of the course and a minimum score of 80% on the final exam.
(Note: Once you have passed the final exam (which requires a minimum score of 76%), you cannot re-take it in order to qualify for CE credit, so successful completion of the course does not automatically qualify for CE credit.)
Proof of course completion and/or questions regarding CE credit should be forwarded to Linda@SFBoard.org
The Washington Association of REALTORS has gained clock hour approval from the Department of Licensing for the e-PRO course. You will receive 15 clock hours upon successful completion of the online course. There is an additional fee of $25.00 for obtaining clock hours.
